He issued the following statement today upon qualifying to run for the Office of Mayor in Horn Lake, MS, “I’m excited to run for the office of Mayor in the beautiful city of Horn Lake, so that I can become the inspirational leader and change maker that our city needs. Horn Lake has grown tremendously over the years, as have other cities in Desoto County. However, the leadership of Horn Lake must reflect, relate to, communicate with, and actively address the current concerns of its community.

I am ready to lead this city by bringing out the potential that’s already here but underutilized. I’m looking forward to inspiring, “A New Horn Lake” through embracing diversity, increasing transparency, physical accountability, economic advancement, enhancing community engagement, and promoting mentorship and internship opportunities. I’m ready to be a Mayor for all of Horn Lake’s citizens and to build the next generation of young leaders that will continue to expand Horn Lake’s growth for years to come.”
“A leadership that doesn’t reflect its citizens,
can’t unite nor comprehend the concerns of
the community it serves.”
